Ironic Narrative: Nachman Blumental’s Approach to Yiddish Literature Under Nazi Occupation

Malena Chinski has a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the National University of General Sarmiento and the Institute of Economic and Social Development in Argentina. Her current research topics include the itineraries and work of surviving Yiddish writers and scholars from Eastern Europe, and the reconstruction of Yiddish culture in Paris in the early aftermath of the Shoah. She is Yiddish instructor at the YIVO Institute for Jewish research and the Maison de la culture yiddish – Bibliothèque Medem.
